Artists on Art with Joyce Teta – Jan. 29

Artists on Art with Joyce Teta

Join us in January for a conversation with artist/calligrapher Joyce Teta.

“Joyce is a ‘lifer’, having been introduced to calligraphy as a teenager in an all girl school convent in London. She has been a devotee and practitioner ever since. She loves letters in all forms, but has specialized in learning proper book-making techniques, hence the moniker: calligrapher & bookartist.”

Event is free and open to the public: January 21, 6:30 – 8pm** Due to winter weather predictions, we are postponing this event until Friday, January 29, 6:30 – 8pm.

Artists on Art is a dialogue series hosted by Amy Jordan Kincaid that originated in 2014, as a venue for promoting artists, and offering a dialogue where artists discuss art and process.  Many of our guest artists have other stories or motivators that the community at large is unaware of, the “other” part of their story. Host, Amy Jordan Kincaid is intrigued by life stories and art processes; this event series combines the two and brings our community together in a casual setting to discover more about ourselves and the art community at large.
