Scholarships
General scholarships provide a partial tuition waiver to the class or workshop for which you are registering. Scholarships are granted on the basis of financial need. You may apply for a scholarship by attaching a one-page letter to the registration form on this website describing why you need this scholarship, how it will benefit you and how you plan to use what you have learned. Scholarship funds are limited and applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Note in your application how much of the class tuition you can pay. You will be notified of our decision prior to the beginning of classes.
Adult Program Scholarships
The Sawtooth School for Visual Art offers a limited number of scholarships for adult programs awarded on the basis of need. Scholarships are considered on a first-come, first-served basis and are dependent upon availability of funds.
Youth Program Scholarships
Youth scholarships are available based on need. A written recommendation for the scholarship must come from a classroom teacher or qualified professional, and a parent or guardian. Please direct the scholarship application with recommendations to the youth program coordinator.
