Instructor Carole Morse
This multilevel class will explore the three dimensional possibilities of working hard waxes for carving and soft waxes for modeling. You’ll learn how to carve and model your wax, invest the wax, and cast the piece in sterling or fine silver. Carole will also be able to show you how to recycle your old silver jewelry or flatware by melting it to create casting grain, which is then used to cast your new jewelry. Perfect for the beginner or repeat student. Brand new casting equipment added to the studio this session.
