This glass beadmaking class will take beginners through all the basics of glassbeadmaking in a flame, and will also allow repeat students to expand their skills. After you learn how to create the traditional round bead, you’ll learn to use a leaf press to manipulate the glass while it’s soft, into leaf-like shapes and more. We’ll use other simple tools like pliers to give our beads some form and flair. Diane will introduce traditional and non-traditional lampworking/glass beadmaking materials and techniques. Experience helpful but not required. Materials provided.
